This breed is truly one of a kind. I fell in love with the breed when my friend's introduced me to Sebastian. Mayfield is the ideal dog in my opinion. She is smart and loving. She is great with our cat and Chihuahua. She has always been great with kids. What I love about the breed is the lack of health problems. I have always been a fan of English Bulldogs. I would never allow myself to get one because of the health problems associated with the breed: the breathing problems, the joint problems, the short life span, etc. I searched and searched for the right breed for me. I found that in the Altman White Engish Bulldog. Compared to an English Bulldog, they are slightly taller and their snout is slightly longer. These qualities allow the dog to breath without having problems and allow them to run without hurting. They do not have to have C sections like English Bulldogs. They are not limited to the amount of time they can be outside due to overheating like English Bulldogs. But I think they are just as cute and sweet. It's the best of both worlds. If you like English Bulldogs, but don't care for the health problems, this breed is a great solution for you.
